With it being that time of the year for dry winter skin, it's important to keep your skin moisturized. I'm the first to admit, I don't always slather on moisturizer after I shower. Most of the time, I don't have time, or lately, it's because I haven't found anything that helps hydrate my dry skin. iFabbo recently sent me the Perlier Imperial Honey Body Butter and I've been using it a lot this past month. It's made from the rare honey of Black Bees and is combined with Royal Jelly.
Pros:
- Extremely moisturizing and hydrating, without leaving a greasy residue on your skin.
- Plenty of product that would last a while
Cons:
- Fragrance is STRONG. The informational card says it's a honey and Oriental woods scent, but the honey overpowers anything else in the body butter. I apply this in the morning while I'm getting ready for work.. the scent lasts all day into the next morning, that's how heavily scented this is. If you are sensitive to smells or fragrances, I would not recommend this, especially if you get scent-induced migraines.
Personally, I wouldn't buy this until Perlier reformulates the scent so that it isn't so overpowering. You can buy this at HSN, but it's currently out of stock.
