Literary Lacquers Review and Swatches - Picture Heavy

Good morning!! I'm trying to get rid of this cold/bronchitis/whatever it is I have, drinking coffee, while my 6 year old is still sleeping and my 2 year old is on the other computer watching Wonder Pets.

I recently stumbled upon Literary Lacquers and fell immediately in love! <3 Amy is an absolute genius! Books and polish?? Polish with names based on characters from books?? YES, PLEASE!! So course, I contacted Amy about reviewing her polish and she sent me two from The Good Parts Collection! :D

If It Pleases You is based on The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty, written by Anne Rice under the name A. N. Roquelaure in 1983. I read the trilogy in 2001, way before Fifty Shades of Grey made it as popular as it is now. And would you believe I still have the trilogy? :P

If It Pleases You is a beautiful plum-raisin linear holo with chocolate brown undertones. I used 3 coats and no top coat. Application was perfect. My base coat didn't like the polish, so I did have some dragging and bald spots, but the polish itself is ahmazing!

Laters, Baby is, of course, named for Christian Grey of Fifty Shades of Grey and what he always says to Ana. Fifty Shades of Grey was written by E.L. James in 2001 and based on fan fiction of Twilight. I loveloveLOVE the Fifty Shades Trilogy, I'm currently re-reading it for the 4th time since I bought it :P So it's only natural that I would love this polish <3

Laters, Baby is a charcoal/black linear scattered holo. I used 3 coats and no top coat. This polish does have a slightly gritty feel to it when dry, so if you're not a fan of textured polish, I would use a top coat. As with IIPY, application was superb.
